Stunts Facts

Tom Cruise jumped from a helicopter with a burning parachute 16 times for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Each canopy was soaked in fuel and set alight at least 7,500 feet up. He cut it loose after about three seconds and opened a backup. He was 62, and Guinness made it a world record.

Jamie Lee Curtis really did hang beneath a flying helicopter for True Lies. Just days before her 35th birthday, she was wired to the aircraft at base camp. It flew 20 minutes over open water to the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys, with her dangling below a stuntman on the skid as James Cameron filmed from the door. Her one demand was wire cutters on board.
