Scientists recognize at least six distinct types of twins beyond just identical and fraternal: Mirror-Image twins (reversed features), Half-Identical/Polar Body twins (share 75% DNA), Superfecundation twins (different fathers), and Superfetation twins (conceived weeks apart).
