As Christmas approaches every year, many excited children want to send Santa a letter with their Christmas list, but where do they send it to? Canada has an actual mailing address to Santa Claus himself.
Around the Christmas period, Canada Post recruits around 6,000 helpers who respond to each and every letter they receive - as long as they're sent before December 16 and include a full return address. They claim to receive over a million letters every year.
The mailing address is:
Santa Claus
North Pole
H0H 0H0
Canada
There's no postage required. Letters are responded to in the language in which they were written, including Braille.
