Zac Brown Band has sold out Fenway Park fifteen straight times. The band gives away four free cruises at every tour stop. At Fenway on August 2, Zac Brown stopped between songs and told the whole park he was buying every person there a cruise for two. All 37,000 of them. Four more go out at the next stop.
Zac Brown Stopped Between Songs and Gave 37,000 Fans a Cruise
On the night of August 2, 2026, Zac Brown stopped between songs at Fenway Park and told more than 37,000 people that he was buying every one of them a cruise for two. His own team called it the largest audience gifting in live entertainment history.
Fifteen Sellouts in a Row
Zac Brown Band first played Fenway Park in 2014. They have not failed to fill it since.
The August 2 show was their fifteenth consecutive sold-out performance at the ballpark. The band's own release says it holds Fenway's all-time records for most consecutive sold-out shows and most tickets sold by any artist.
Plenty of acts get one night at Fenway. Almost nobody gets fifteen.
The Announcement
The announcement came between songs, moments before the band played "Same Boat," a song from their own catalogue.
"I'm buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat," Brown told the crowd. "Every single person here gets a cruise for themselves and a loved one."
Then he put a label on it: "This is the biggest giveaway in history, ladies and gentlemen, right here tonight at Fenway Park."
The crowd had to move that night. A claim code went up inside the ballpark, and fans had until midnight to sign up.

Who Actually Paid
This was not a sponsor handing out prizes. Brown funded the giveaway personally, through a partnership with Margaritaville at Sea, the cruise line backing the tour.
Reporting at the time put the total value at more than $40 million.
The certificates cover the cruise fare for two on select Margaritaville at Sea sailings over the following year. Travel to the port, taxes, fees, gratuities and anything bought on board stay with the passenger.
"This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career," said Christopher Ivy, chief executive of Margaritaville at Sea.
Four a Night, Everywhere Else
The giveaway was a supersized version of something the band already does. Across the 27-date Love and Fear tour, which runs from July to November 2026, four fans at every stop win a cruise.
At Fenway, Brown multiplied that by more than nine thousand.
A Venue at Sea
Brown's involvement with the cruise line goes deeper than a tour sponsorship.
Margaritaville at Sea's new ship, the Beachcomber, debuts in January 2027 carrying a live music venue called Same Boat, co-designed by Brown. The company bills it as the first artist-curated live music venue at sea.
It shares its name with the song the band played right after he made the announcement.
