The chances of making two holes-in-one in a round of golf are one in 67 million.

The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers founded in 1744, is the world's oldest golf club!

Jack Nicklaus won 18 major golf titles. The company bearing his name told others he had dementia and needed his car keys taken away. The 85-year-old sued and a jury awarded him $50 million.

Clint Eastwood saved a man's life at 83 using the Heimlich maneuver for the first time in his life. At a 2014 Pebble Beach volunteer dinner, he spotted tournament director Steve John choking on cheese and acted fast. John weighed 202 pounds. "I can't believe I'm 202 pounds and he threw me up in the air three times," John said afterward.

Alice Cooper got sober in 1983 by trading one addiction for another. In rehab, he took up golf. He played 36 holes a day, every single day, for a year, always with club pros. The new habit replaced the drinking for good. He still tees off six days a week at 5:30am. He once seriously considered playing a pro tournament in full stage makeup.

Wrigley Field's scoreboard is a giant board that has loomed over the bleachers since 1937. No batted baseball has ever struck it, the Cubs say, not even Roberto Clemente's legendary blast. A golf ball did. On April 17, 1951, Sam Snead hit two balls off the grass at home plate, no tee. His first shot struck the board. His second cleared it clean. Frankie Frisch just stared. "Look, he didn't even wiggle."

Ken Harrelson played golf all day in 1964 and came to a night game in Kansas City with a blistered hand that could barely grip the bat, so he wore his red golf glove at the plate. His teammates laughed until he homered twice. The next day Mickey Mantle bought 20 pairs of golf gloves and the Yankees warmed up in them, calling him Mrs. Harrelson. Almost every hitter wears a pair now.
