Tom Cruise Facts

Every December, Tom Cruise ships hundreds of white chocolate coconut bundt cakes from Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, California to co-stars, directors, crew members, and anyone who has ever worked with him - including people from a single film. Kirsten Dunst called it "the best coconut cake I've ever had in my life." Cruise can't eat it himself: he cuts sugar while training.

Tom Cruise spotted a burning yacht off Capri, Italy while vacationing with Nicole Kidman in 1996. He ordered his yacht's skiff out and his crew pulled five people to safety - including a seven-year-old girl - minutes before the boat sank. The world's biggest action star had just performed a real rescue.

Tom Cruise jumped from a helicopter with a burning parachute 16 times for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. Each canopy was soaked in fuel and set alight at least 7,500 feet up. He cut it loose after about three seconds and opened a backup. He was 62, and Guinness made it a world record.
